The Word or Death is an investigation into the dangerous links between politics and religion, between religions and sciences. How can the same words from the Bible or the Koran incite hatred, murder and sacrifice and also light the way to wisdom and life?
At the dawn of the 21st century, we are struck by the explosive force of mix between Bibical or Koranic verses, political messages and murderous acts that enflame wars “in the name of God”. But the words can also awaken, they can illuminate the spirit and weave bonds over frontiers.
