"Calligraphy is frozen poetry. It may well be simply an artistic version of another form, that is the ideograms which make up the poem, but then not only does it reflect the character and temperament of the artist but also its heart rate and breathing." Lamakaan presents a two day workshops for enthusiasts in Calligraphy for young and elders on 23th & 24th Nov Sat & Sun at 12noon - 2 pm.
In the two-hour sessions one will learn how to grip the calligraphy pen - to writing their own invitation for their next family function in Urdu & English.
Ms. Monika Lokhanday will be teaching the art in English, Hindi, Urdu and Arabic scripts. Fee includes providing Calligraphy Pen and writing material. For registrations: call 9704621500
