Last week, the National Food Security Bill was passed in both Lok and Raj Sabha. It raised many questions on the aspects of hunger vs nutrition, standardization of food vs variety in food basket, fiscal burden vs a long awaited populist political decision, hasty decision by the government before the elections, food security vs food sovereignty and many more.

Discussion aims to understand, debate and discuss around these questions.
