The documentary was made by All India Forum for Right to Education after it's country-wide campaign of Shiksha Sangharsh Yatra against commercialisation and communalisation of education in India. It raises some of the fundamental questions before the education system of the country. Gathering the rich experiences and legacies of the historical social reform movements and the struggles for freedom of the country it builds a case for equitable and emancipatory education system in the country.
