Kian is a non profit persian theatre & music & film organization, founded by Mohammad Khezeli (Nooran) in 2003. In its 12 years history Kian has produced 15 original theatre productions, established a theatre laboratory and did several music performances on an international level (Iran, Dubai, Turkey, India).
The program includes Nooran’s own compositions, with Rumi's poems In Persian, English and Turkish languages, famous ethnic songs and a Sama dance!
Group members:
Mohammad Khezeli (Nooran): vocal/guitar – Master of theatre/art; he is pursuing his PhD at Ege University in Izmir (Turkey)
Ofogh Iraji: Kemanche player - Master of theatre/art from Arak University
Saman Hossieni: Daf player - student at Ege University; department of Music.
Sanaz Taj: Choreographer, dancer and singer - Master of Performance Art from HCU
Entry: Rs 100 - HWMF members free
