Akademi in 2017, Mercy Maragaret has established herself as a powerful female voice in Telugu literature as a poet, short story writer and playwright. Five volumes of her poems have appeared so far.
The seventh edition of DHWANI will feature a performative vocal presentation of her more recent poems, especially her uniquely styled love poems, in an immersive multi-media setting.

6.30 pm : Short Videos/PPTs on life and literary works of Mercy Maragaret and on DHWANI prorgrammes.
7.00 pm : Short opinions on Mercy Maragaret as a person and writer
7.00 to 8.15 pm Performative reading of Mercy’s love and other poems
8.15 to 8.45 pm : Q & A session with Mercy Maragaret
