What’s common between all of these? And most importantly, how’s it going to change the field of art, art practices, artistic expressions and the world at large. That’s where NFTs come into picture.

As someone who’s entire artistic journey has been centered around the sense of being independent, seeking maximum control on his works, Amar stumbled upon blockchain technology that gradually made him understand NFTs and the power of web3 ecosystem. He sees a great potential in it for artists, curators and any independent professional or group. Through his talk he aims to kindle a discussion and build a community by sharing his knowledge and making others connect.

Come let’s ponder over the possibilities of decentralisation that promises to revoutionalise the way humans are going to interact with each other in the near future.

Sign Medium - A platform that provides skilling courses for the Indian deaf community Is organizing a ‘Talent Show’ to celebrate the week on 25th September 2022. We are inviting young talented deaf people to perform their skills and win prizes.

On Bhagat Singh's 115th birth anniversary, we will be screening Anand Patwardhan's documentary film 'In Memory of Friends' which shows how Bhagat Singh's revolutionary ideas helped the Sikh and Hindu communities to maintain communal harmony at the peak of Khalistan movement in the decade of 1980s. The screening will be followed by a discussion on 'the relevance of Bhagat Singh's ideas today'.

On the occasion of Shohei Imamura's 97th birth anniversary in September, Lamakaan remembers one of the finest Japanese film directors of his time.

About Shohei Imamura: Shōhei Imamura (15 September 1926 – 30 May 2006) was a Japanese film director. His primary interest as a filmmaker lay in depicting the lower strata of Japanese society. A key figure in the Japanese New Wave, who continued working into the 21st century, Imamura is the only director from Japan to win two Palme d'Or awards.

​The ​Circle​ by Jafar Panahi is set in modern day Tehran where patriarchy​ and​ religion have resulted in a severe curtailment of women's rights.​​ Although, religion is a weapon of oppression, it's not the root cause. Religion is used to convince people that a system so perverse is righteous. Various women struggle to function in the oppressively sexist society of contemporary Iran.​​​ ​This soul-stirring film is about the courage and resilienc​e​ that emerges from a deep yearning for freedom.

It is a program consisting of a panel discussion on the topic "mental health therapy: a necessity or a luxury?" between members who share different points of view when it comes to mental health and a short skit that highlights the impact of one's environment on their mental space.

It is being conducted to start the conversation among the audience about prioritizing their mental health and wellbeing.

We are a Shakespeare drama workshop we will be doing our annual drama showcase in from of parents and family. Learners in age group of 10 and up will be performing extracts from Othello

About Jean-Luc Godard: Jean-Luc Godard - 3 December 1930 – 13 September 2022) was a French-Swiss film director, screenwriter, and film critic. He rose to prominence as a pioneer of the French New Wave film movement of the 1960s, alongside such filmmakers as François Truffaut, Agnès Varda, Éric Rohmer, and Jacques Demy. He was arguably the most influential French filmmaker of the post-war era. According to AllMovie, his work "revolutionized the motion picture form" through its experimentation with narrative, continuity, sound, and camerawork.[2] His most acclaimed films include Breathless (1960), Vivre sa vie (1962), Contempt (1963), Band of Outsiders (1964), Alphaville (1965), Pierrot le Fou (1965), Masculin Féminin (1966), Weekend (1967), and Goodbye to Language (2014).

During his early career as a film critic for the influential magazine Cahiers du Cinéma, Godard criticised mainstream French cinema's "Tradition of Quality", which de-emphasised innovation and experimentation.
