Year: 2012
Running Time: 71 minutes
Trailer: http://vimeo.com/50016568
Synopsis:
Narrated by Oscar-nominated actor Don Cheadle (Hotel Rwanda, Crash), in what The Washington Post calls an "artfully shot documentary," La Source tells the uplifting story of Josue Lajuenesse, a Haitian Princeton janitor who returns to his country after the devastating 2010 earthquake to revive his lifelong dream to bring what is most fundamental to his village's survival; clean water.
A hit at the 2012 AFI-Discovery Channel Silverdocs Documentary Festival where it received a standing ovation and a nomination for the Social Impact Award, this film from award-winning Director Patrick Shen (Flight from Death: The Quest for Immortality, The Philosopher Kings) is not just a movie about clean water and community transformation; it is a story of one unlikely hero, empowered by a vision, who did whatever it took to ignite the passion of people thousands of miles away to change the lives of those in La Source forever.

As the name says the play shows the pariksha that Sita had to go through in the yug of all good, i.e. Satyug. Yugs changed but not the situation. Women in today's world came at par with men but still they have to go through this pariksha now and then to save the so called male ego or society problems.
The play not only shows Sita's emotions but different thoughts that Hanuman, Angad, Jambvant, Lakshman, Vibhishan and Ram himself was going through. Why and how this discussion was given and how was it taken by all ? Why they might not stood against it.
To get answer to these and many more questions do come and watch the play Agni Pariksha with a different angle.

Most of my illustrations have the little elements related to my life..it can be anything love for food or travel or art...anger, happiness, fun etc. I've few characters like a girl ( who I believe is me ) , a guy , a dog , bird..etc which I use frequently in different situations & I try to imagine how they will behave.
Mostly my work consists of doodles made up of messy/imperfect lines. I focus on trying to bring out the feeling I want to convey more than the technicalities of drawing. I aim to draw the funnier side of even the most serious things smile emoticon As that keeps me happy!

How much would you pay for a white painting? Would it matter who the painter was? Would it be art? One of Marc's best friends, Serge, has just bought a very expensive painting. It's about five feet by four, all white with white diagonal lines. To Marc, the painting is a joke, but Serge insists Marc doesn't have the proper standard to judge the work. Another friend, Yvan, though burdened by his own problems, allows himself to be pulled into this disagreement. Eager to please, Yvan tells Serge he likes the painting. Lines are drawn and these old friends square off over the canvas, using it as an excuse to relentlessly batter one another over various failures. As their arguments become less theoretical and more personal, they border on destroying their friendships. At the breaking point, Serge hands Marc a felt tip pen and dares him: "Go on." This is where the friendship is finally tested, and the aftermath of action, and its reaction, affirms the power of those bonds.

Synopsis: A group of people are lured into coming to an island under different pretexts, e.g. offers of employment or to enjoy a late summer holiday, or to meet old friends. All have been complicit in the death(s) of other human beings but either escaped justice or committed an act that was not subject to legal sanction. The guests and two servants who are present are "charged" with their respective "crimes" by a gramophone recording after dinner the first night and informed that they have been brought to the island to pay for their actions. They are the only people on the island, and cannot escape due to the distance from the mainland and the inclement weather, yet gradually all ten are killed in turn, in a manner that seems to parallel the ten deaths in the nursery rhyme. Nobody else seems to be left alive on the island by the time of the apparent last death. A confession, in the form of a postscript to the novel, unveils how the killings took place and who was responsible.
