This self-funded documentary is about what used to be a little known event until the 1980s but which has now become the single largest annual pilgrimage in India: the Kanwar Yatra. The film looks at not just the religious and cultural aspects of the Yatra but also its socio-economic impact, the environmental issues attached to it (for instance, the state of the Ganga and the potential for man-animal conflict, etc), the sheer maleness of the event, and how the occasion is being used by Hindu right-wing groups to push their majoritarian agenda and the showcase it has become for Hindu nationalism.

The nearly 90-minute film was shot over a period of six years and was an official selection at the 8th Kolkata People's Film Festival in 2022. The film has had a screening at Prithvi Theatre, Bombay, and over 35 universities across the world, including Princeton, Yale, Columbia and Stanford, have acquired it to screen/stream it for their students, faculty and staff.

The play aims to explain that there is a lot of struggle in life, and it's up to you how to live it. When there is no escape from struggle, why suffer?So,why don't we live with laughter and enthusiasm?There is no tax on laughter.This drama is a beautiful reflection of life situations where we are left in a dilemma as to where we are and where we stand. The play is the Telugu adaptation of the Marathi one-act written by the famous author, which adds a lot to the play with fun play that surely makes the audience ponder the outcome. In a light-hearted comedy drama, a satirical scene on the plight of humanity has been presented.

Rainer Werner Fassbinder (German: [ˈʁaɪnɐ ˈvɛʁnɐ ˈfasbɪndɐ] ⓘ; 31 May 1945 – 10 June 1982), sometimes credited as R. W. Fassbinder,[1] was a German filmmaker, actor, and dramatist. He is widely regarded as one of the major figures and catalysts of the New German Cinema movement. Versatile and prolific, his over 40 films span a variety of genres, most frequently blending elements of Hollywood melodrama with social criticism and avant-garde techniques. His films, according to him, explored "the exploitability of feelings". His work was deeply rooted in post-war German culture: the aftermath of Nazism, the German economic miracle, and the terror of the Red Army Faction. He worked with a company of actors and technicians who frequently appeared in his projects.

About the film: Despair – A Journey into the Light (Despair – Eine Reise ins Licht) tells the story of Hermann Hermann, an unbalanced Russian émigré and chocolate magnate, whose business and marriage have both grown bitter. This self-funded documentary is about what used to be a little known event until the 1980s but which has now become the single largest annual pilgrimage in India: the Kanwar Yatra. The film looks at not just the religious and cultural aspects of the Yatra but also its socio-economic impact, the environmental issues attached to it (for instance, the state of the Ganga and the potential for man-animal conflict, etc), the sheer maleness of the event, and how the occasion is being used by Hindu right-wing groups to push their majoritarian agenda and the showcase it has become for Hindu nationalism.

The nearly 90-minute film was shot over a period of six years and was an official selection at the 8th Kolkata People's Film Festival in 2022. The film has had a screening at Prithvi Theatre, Bombay, and over 35 universities across the world, including Princeton, Yale, Columbia and Stanford, have acquired it to screen/stream it for their students, faculty and staff.

"Bade Miya toh bade miya, Chote Miya SubhanAllah" is a light Hyderabadi Urdu/ Hindi comedy play hosted by Raffu Chakkar Entertainers. The play is about two characters and their behavior towards life and the way they handle the situation - they both have huge age difference, one young 14 year old and another one very young 60 year old. It will be an evening that will make you smile, laugh and give good times. Ticket Rs 100/- per head

The event's theme revolve around Unwritten Voices, emotions and feelings - here we are bringing a small group of people together with an aim to facilitate letter writing and art into a silent yet expressive space followed by grounding structure. This is a mental health movement driven space where one's expressiveness, permissions to do so and well - being is fostered.

"Buddha or Karl Marx" by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar is a work which suggests either a comparison or a contrast between two such personalities divided
by such a lengthy span of time and occupied with different fields of thought. Blue Robin is doing a reading of this work from 5th May to 23rd May with discussions, debates and presentations to produce some local knowledge, followed by Sangham on 25th May

Two youngsters fall in love from the rival gangs and the never lasting tension between the gangs lead to a tragedy. Do they ever set aside their differences or there will always be such tragedies?

"Blind Men's Club" is an adaptation of Dr. Chandrashekhar Phansalkar's "Tax Free," a Marathi one-act play. "Tax Free" as the title of this play implies no tax, or being without tax or value. The play aims to explain that there is a lot of struggle in life, and it's up to you how to live it. When there is no escape from struggle, why suffer?So,why don't we live with laughter and enthusiasm?There is no tax on laughter.This drama is a beautiful reflection of life situations where we are left in a dilemma as to where we are and where we stand. The play is the Telugu adaptation of the Marathi one-act written by the famous author, which adds a lot to the play with fun play that surely makes the audience ponder the outcome. In a light-hearted comedy drama, a satirical scene on the plight of humanity has been presented.
