OCCUPIED: A story about the spirit of beautiful Palestine, told through the eyes of young-generation Palestinians, within their war-torn circumstances, using the arts to fight the occupation.
My team and I at Mirage Media, having recently toured and extensively documented the West Bank and the rest of Palestine, have not only witnessed the horrifying reality of military occupation, but also of social and political control and of pathological bullying.
In the midst of violence, anger, and struggle in this beautiful State, our story portrays resistance with the utmost soul of believing in a better tomorrow, and choosing to express dissent through art.
