This is the third in a series of meetings in the wake of Rohith Vemula. If in the first meeting we had an outpouring of anger and anguish, in the second one we shared a number of issues around caste privilege and discrimination in everyday life. In this third meeting which will be more structured as a workshop, we will work through the key issues and invite participants to commit towards an action programme. It will be led by Anant Maringanti.
If you are a teacher, parent, student, professional - if you see yourself as a stakeholder in the university as a public resource, if you believe that caste and other forms of discrimination need to be taken head on, do show up.
