Inviting children and adults to a presentation on "Pottery for sustainability & environment".

The aim of this seminar/workshop is to strengthening of the role of civil society in preservation and enhancement of environment.

Pottery is a very delicate and precise craft that needs skilled fingers to define the shape you want. One wrong move can spoil the whole thing. In the age of nomadic period, the potter has become the first Engineer. Scientist and Civilized citizen, as he has invented the earthen ware pots and educated to prepare and eat cooked food in Earthen ware pots, and showed the ways and means of storage of food grains and water etc., Harrappan and Mohanjodaro cultures heralded the age of wheel-made pottery.
