Event Page

The next event in our conversation sessions between scientists and the general public, Sawaal-Jawaab, features a talk on "Nuclear Civil Defense of India : Is it feasible?". Our guest scientist is Prof. R. Rajaraman, Emeritus Professor of Physics, J.N.U., and Co-Chair, International Panel on Fissile Materials. He will speak for 20 - 30 materials on issues surrounding the deployment of and protection from nuclear weapons, after which the audience is invited to engage in an informal, free-flowing discussion with the speaker. Interested participants of all ages are welcome. No prior knowledge or expertise is required.
